Seesmic or TweetDeck not working in Windows 7?

It seems the way of using Twitter has changed these days, with so many applications implementing twitter API and building better UI and attracting more people towards it. And as a Twitter User myself, I know that Seesmic and Tweetdeck are two major contributor and competitor in that field. So, its natural the new Windows 7 and IE8 users will also want to install and try them out and see how it performs under this new OS.
But I faced a new problem while using it, though no other of my friends had it.
Whenever you configure and Run Seesmic using Adobe AIR, the front page just stays blank. Or while configuring TweetDeck, after giving the twitter account details, when you press Submit, on the right bottom corner it just shows "Twitter Status: There is a problem - don't panic."

Here is the way to get rid of it.
Internet Explorer 8 is by default integrated with Windows 7. Among the bunch of settings of IE8, there is one that implicitly allows all the connections use a preset settings automatically. That overrides any manual settings an application might use. To keep things working, we just need to disable that setting.

For that, Open IE8 -> Tools menu -> Internet Options -> Connections Tab -> LAN Settings -> Untick Automatically detect settings -> Ok -> Ok. Restart Seesmic or TweetDeck.

That should do it.

Now, enjoy Tweeting. ^_^

Back. At last..

It was one Heck of a struggle..
Me, Bibhas, who, in my opinion, can't even live a single day without the touch of computer or the feel of internet, spent a whole 7 months without net connection.! Man, that was a Drag..
I had a Sify connection, a 256kbps one. not that I liked it much but it did use to get the jobs done. But I had to disconnect it just before the semester, cause it really makes me lose concentration from study. It'll be doing that from now on too, but I'll cope up, I guess..
And that was the beginning.. Never got the chance to connect it again since then. Let it be some financial problem or my utmost hatred towards Sify, the reasons never ended showing up.
So, what did I do? I went Mobile!! GPRS is such a blessing.. and bless my Sony Ericsson z550i with all your heart. I had no i dea it has so much endurance.. Everyday, at least 8 hours, it used to work on my command. From Opera mini to Snaptu, none was left untouched. Then it started to annoy even my family member! For an example, a common dialogue from Dad if he's seen me at dining table 'without' my phone in my hand(the other hand I mean), "Whoa!! Your're spending time without your phone!! Where's it? Is it broken!! Let me remind you, I'm not gonna buy you another one if you break it now.."
Yeah, that was what I used to hear almost everyday.
Bless Vodafone a LOT and DoCoMo a little. They saved me. I think I made some record using gprs from a just-gprs-enabled phone. When Vodafone had it's unlimited gprs plan, I even used my phone to update my anti-virus! Download a whole 6mB offline update file, with 8kbps speed which used to take really a Lot of time, then transfer it to PC, then update that AVG of mine! I could easily go to cafe, spend Rs.10 and download it from there and do the rest. But that is too much Drag for me. Why wait for the next day to go to cafe when I can download it right now?
Literally, I was NEVER seen without my phone in my hand. If I'm not in front of my PC, be assured, wherever I am, I'm with my mobile. That damn phone.. My Z550i.

So, leaving the histories behind, I asked Dad to bring a BSNL landline. I wanted a permanent net connection. So, applied for it. But fate didn't rest while playing with me. After all the form and Money submission, and a whole month, the BSNL officers deduced that they didn't even plant cable in our part of our Housing complex, as it is still under-construction. They told me to 'wait', it could take them weeks or months to do all the paperworks and bring me some luck.
Disappointing, but I somehow was expecting to hear something like this. From all the stories I heard about the service of BSNL, I didn't expect any less. So, I decided to wait, like a good boy, again, depending upon Vodafone and my dear old z550i.
And then, as sudden as a rain in winter, they showed up one day, and said, it was their mistake, the cables were already planted, they were a BIT mis-informed! Don't ask me how, I don't know.
They fixed the landline and I, without wasting any time(as I expected they are gonna waste a Lot), went to Dumdum Telephone exchange, submitted the BB form.
While I was returning home, I just looked at my phone and maybe silently told myself, "I don't know how long it's gonna take." But I think BSNL had decided to amaze me more than I was already. Within 24hours they called, came home and supplied the modem and told me it's gonna be a week before I receive the password. And everything seemed to flow like water from then. The LINK led turned on in another 24 hours and almost after 6 days, which was not even imaginable to me, the SMS came today morning, with the ID and password..
I didn't waste any time. Turned on the PC, opened the dialing window, inserted the ID and password, and pressed DIAL.
It got connected.
I opened Twitter and Facebook. And maybe silently told the world, "I'm Back. At Last."
